Not sure what to say?

Kurt was a neat guy. All of my memories of him during our days at Enserch are good ones, and I count it a privilege to have known him. My sincere condolences to his family. Marshall Berryhill

I was Kurt's dental hygienist. I will truely miss him. He was such a joy to have in the office. He was a very intelligent man and I enjoyed our conversations. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Kurt was an amazing individual, gifted with a brilliant mind and incredibly quick wit. A man of great integrity and intelligence, we were all blessed and enriched by his gentle and warm persona. Kurt had a generous heart and accepting nature that was unmatched. He cared about others. And if you know Ken, Marge and Scott, these Matheson’s all share that unique attribute of making the meager feel mighty. His engineering and technical capabilities cannot be excused as just superior – he was...

I so sorry that such an upstanding and honest person has gone too soon. Kurt was a friend and fellow employee at Enserch who could always be relied upon and knew the correct things to do. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. ...Lou and Rosemary DuBois

The E. L. Smith family will cherish many happy times and events dating back to the Bridgeport, TX days and then on to Dallas as we all transferred into the main office.
Kurt was an engineer of the very highest order, who was held in high regard by me as well as those who worked with him.
Kurt loved good food and could cook. Wilma, my wife, told him that he was "good husband material" what with so many talents.
Kurt was an inspiration to us for so many years as he battled...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I worked with Kurt at ENSERCH. He was a real advocate for doing the right thing. He set a great example for others in the organization. He was a delight to work with proving that a Sooner and a Teasip could work together. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the service but will be there in spirit on Wednesday.

Dear Matheson Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I worked with Kurt for several years at Lone Star Gas / TXU. Kurt was always such a sweet, good-natured, very intelligent person who had a real passion for his work. Kurt was the type of person who would gladly give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. After TXU bought Lone Star Gas, Kurt spent some time traveling to Australia, and I believe it was on a side trip to Indonesia that he brought me back a...
