I knew Don through Boy Scout Troop 57 in Arlington, TX. I have many wonderful memories of our times spent together in scouting. He was such a positive influence on our boys. We kept in touch after he moved to Michigan and I will miss my dear friend greatly. He was such a sweet man. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I knew DON from First Baptist Church Arlington, Texas. He served as our Sunday School Director for several years. We were also among the many Scouting families he served. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his family.

Mr. Matthews was my scoutmaster. He made a serious commitment to our growth and development, constantly pushing us to do great things (sometimes dragging us along). I am forever grateful for his example, support, and generosity. He was a wonderful man and I will miss him.

Mr. Matthew´s was my scoutmaster and I am thankful for the investment of time and energy he put into that role. He shaped my life in powerful ways, and I thank God for his leadership, mentorship, and friendship.

We will miss our Dearest Close Friend and just like Family. So many Beautiful and Fun memories forever! Loved Him!

We sure will miss Don´s wonderful smile and conversations. We feel so fortunate to have been able to reconnect recently. Sending our deepest condolences to his loved ones.

A nice man....My late wife (Monique) and I always enjoyed talking to him and he in fact did know some French. He will be missed by many.
