I am devastated to hear the sad news of Don's passing. He had a good soul behind those twinkling eyes of his. I admired his relentless affection for the Yankees in good or bad, & appreciated and shared his love for great rock & roll. My heart goes out to his family & closest friends, he will be missed by many.

Don will be greatly missed. I worked with him at Bay Street and O'Neill's and he was a great friend and made work go by quickly. His sense of humor, great musical taste and twinkling eyes defined Don for me. My prayers and sympathy go out to his family. I will never forget him.

I was very saddened to hear of Don's passing. As a former owner of O'Neills, where Don came to work when he came to Manasquan, I can tell you that he stepped up to the plate when called upon to take over as head chef. He made many friends here and will always be remembered for his quick wit and sly smile. God be with the McGrath family as well as all Don's good friends.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of the warm, caring, funny and entertaining person that Don was. A talented and creative chef, Don's passion was to please through the palate, which he consistently did time and time again. We always looked forward to a good time, good fun and a GREAT meal when Don was "in the back".
May God bless Don and his family.
