Not sure what to say?

Don was a great man, friend, husband, father, grandfather and person. We extend our sympathy to the entire family. We are deeply saddened by his passing but blessed to have called him friend. You are in our prayers. Let us know if we can help you in any way. Sincerely and with love, Bonita Black, Ray, Scott and Leland Rivera

The most inspirational, kind, energetic, positive man I have known. I will miss you my friend.

Don was unforgettable. He loved life and people and especially loved Karen, Gena, Angela, Max, Emily, Zach, his grandchildren and all his friends. He inspired us with a fearless ability to seize opportunities and his determination to make the world a better place. He believed in himself and in those around him. I feel fortunate to have been one of his many friends.

I am deeply sorry for your family's loss. May your hearts find comfort in God's beautiful promises for the future. John 6:40

On behalf of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association and Brother Martin High School, I offer our prayers and condolences.

I knew Don peripherally through our mutual friend, Mike Behler, whom we both love like a brother, the kind of brother you genuinely love and spend a lifetime making memories together. Don and Mike were truly best friends for 50 years and you can be sure that anyone who earns that level of respect and admiration from Mike is a worthy man. Extending my deepest sympathy to Don's family, friends, and colleagues...
