Don was unforgettable. He loved life and people and especially loved Karen, Gena, Angela, Max, Emily, Zach, his grandchildren and all his friends. He inspired us with a fearless ability to seize opportunities and his determination to make the world a better place. He believed in himself and in those around him. I feel fortunate to have been one of his many friends.

I knew Don peripherally through our mutual friend, Mike Behler, whom we both love like a brother, the kind of brother you genuinely love and spend a lifetime making memories together.
