Please accept my condolences on the loss of you Dad, Granddad, Great-granddad. While I didn't know Mr. McWilliams, my father was also a pilot with the 487th Bomb Group and I am thankful for and value the lives of all these fine men. There service and sacrifice is something we should never forget. We owe them so much.

tim,deb and family - so sorry to hear of tim's dad's passing. i'm sure it has left quite a void in all the family's lives. he is at peace now. we all send our heartfelt regards to you all.

My wife, Ruth, and I had the very great pleasure of meeting Mr. McWilliams at a family Christmas party where I had a wonderful conversation with him and his grandson, Timbo. While we spoke of our patriotic service and spirit, I especially remember being in awe of his soldierly exploits and his rock-solid physical stature. Mr. McWilliams epitomized Tom Brokaw's "Greatest Generation." Now Timbo has the pleasure of his company once again.
