Not sure what to say?

Don was the kindest most dear man that we have ever met. But the always present twinkle in his eye endeared him to all that knew him. We will miss him forever. He would have and he did do everything for Avery and his three girls. We have wonderful memories of our days as neighbors on DeGarmo Hills Road. Our sympathies are with you.

I was truly saddened to hear from Beth about Don. The memories I have of us as neighbors and friends are what sustains us at a time like this. Since receiving your Christmas card, I had you on my mind and HAD intentions of writing to you. My deepest sympathy to you, Avery, I know what you are going through. To Susan, Dale and Lynn, you had a wonderful Dad who will be greatly missed by your families. God Bless you All and again, my deepest sympathy.

Lynn, my oldest and dearest friend, my heart goes out to you and your family. I have so many memories of your family and can still picture your dad in his boxers reading the paper, like my dad always did in the morning. I probably shouldn't write that, but sometimes a little humor is what we all need at times like this. I think of you so often, and hope you'll let me know when the memorial service will be. Love you always, your old neighbor, Beth
