Don and I played basketball in the city rec league for the "Archdukes" in the mid seventies. He was a great teammate and a great person. We would occasionaly sit together at mass and afterword we would discuss the previous weeks Zag games as well as the upcoming opponents. A wonderful father, husband, uncle and friend, he will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace Don.

Don was a classmate of mine at Gonzaga. We graduated together in 1969. We also played together on the same Zag basketball team. After graduation I recall one visit from Don here in St. Louis while he was traveling on business. The last I saw him was when I returned to Gonzaga for the final basketball game in the Kennedy Pavilion. We sat together in the stands and shared good memories. I was so sad to hear of his illness and death. Don was a good man and he will be missed. My heartfelt...

As Don and I were reminiscing during Joe Migliuri's graduation from the Air Force Academy in 2009--we determined that we likely first crossed paths as lieutenants in Korea in 1972. We had a great time during that week at USAFA 2009's graduation and later at Joe and Missy's and Jenna and John's weddings. That is my sense of this good man--Don was an instant and fast friend and family was what it was all about with him. As men of family we bonded and I have come to greatly appreciate this...

Don was a the greatest uncle, role model and inspiration to both my kids, Joe & Jenna. In May 2009, he attended Joe's graduation at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Few months after, he was diagnosed with cancer. Last 10-10-10, he made his final effort to fly to Washington, DC to attend Jenna's wedding. He meant so much to us. We'll miss you, Don.

Don was my buddy at Metro. We shared much in common, including our Scorpio horoscope! He was helpful to me as I took night classes for my MBA. He was liked, even loved, and respected. I knew he was a family man! Donald, my friend, rest in peace.
