Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the Mikulski family and friends. I often thought of my fellow soldier and friend that I had not seen in years, yet we would stay in contact. I have many memories of our fun times in the early 1970's when we served in the active Army, 4th Engineering Battalion based at Fort Carson, Colorado. We were squad leaders in our platoon. Don was always funny, upbeat and encouraging to all. Don could put on an excellent British accent. We were on a deployment to England...

My deepest condolences on the passing of Don that I just learned about - 10 years after. Don and I served side by side together just about everyday in the US Army in the 4th Engineer Battalion located at Fort Carson, Colorado from 1973 until 1976. Don and I were squad leaders in our platoon. Don was always up beat, funny and encouraging to all.

I often thought of my cousin Don that I had not seen in years. This morning I decided to search Google to see if I could find an address. Sadly, instead, I found his obituary. I am so sorry. My mom was Eva that you visited a long time ago in Kentucky. You may not receive this since so much time has passed, but if you...

I love papa so so much that I can squeeze him! Love Poopster.

Dear Deb and Family,
So sad. So young. What a joy to read the messages sent your way and know how important Don was to his family and friends. Take heart in them. Be happy again some day when you can smile for the life you shared. Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Deb.
I was shocked and saddened when I read of Don's passing.
Though I have not seen him for decades, I will always remember him as the sweet and fun-loving member of the
Bedford High drum section.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hold on to all your precious memories and know that Don will be next to you as you make more.
with deepest sympathy,

Dearest Deb and Family,
