My father was the next door neighbor to a book taught Thomas Edison. My father and I envy Don Milberger's ability to solve an engineering problem with ease and know how to do it. He was very proud of his son Hans when he joined John L. Ward construction company.

Don Milberger convinced the Indian Guide tribe of eight to build a tetrahedron kite. All eight tribes were responsible for one tetrahedron.

I'm very sorry to learn of Don's passing. His knowledge and willingness to share that knowledge made him a rare gem. Rest in peace.

I knew Don during the 70s when he owned the Bicycle Shop in Concord and also operated Bicycle Research
He was one of my favorite people in the Bike business .
I remember when he was elected head of the Concord Chamber of commerce with the request that he wear a Colored T shirt to the meetings instead of his usual white one. And how after shaving off his beard his own brother did not recognise him but stepped up to his wife and asked where Don was.

It saddened me beyond words to read of Don's passing. He was a wonderful person who took the time to teach me to ride a bicycle as an adult because I'd not learned as a child. I'm so appreciative of the time I worked with him on different projects! My thoughts are with you as you go through this difficult time.
