Not sure what to say?

Don was one of the first people I met when I moved to Portland in 1981. He was working at UG then. He had the greatest sense of humor and was a terrific human being. He loved a good joke and didn't mind being the butt of the jokes too. I am so sad to hear of his passing.

Good man. Don was our broker for Oregon and I always enjoyed my visits to Portland because of Don.

Don will be very missed. Such a great guy. So full of life, and all of us were touched by his energy, enthusiasm and care for others. Much love to you, Elaine, and your wonderful sons, Ric and Rodd.

So sorry to read this in the paper. I use to work with on at Kelley-Clarke Food Brokers. My prayers with the family.

So sorry to hear about Don. He was a great guy and truly fun to be around. The United Grocers days were great. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Miller Family.

I was sorry to hear of Don's passing. Had some great memories of our baseball days @ CCHS as well City league. Blessing to the family, one will never forget his smile. RIP right handler..

i remember don from united grocers days when i was first out of college. he was a great guy and always treated me with respect even though i was a snot nosed kid. i will always remember how kind he was. when he found out that i was a jesuit guy and of course he was a graduate from that "barnyard" over on stark street....well the rivalry really kicked into high gear! years later i would see him at the Mac, working out even with his disease. a good and decent man who will now enjoy Christmas in...

So sorry to hear that the CC Rams lost our classmate and friend. On behalf of all of us 1961ers, blessings on Elaine and their family.

Ron and I were so sorry to hear about Don's passing. He was a great guy. Always had a smile on his face. I use to run into him at QFC where he would be enjoying a donut and a Starbuck's coffee. we will miss him. Elaine, you and the boys are in our prayers. Love Ron and Nikki
