Not sure what to say?

I will always remember how at lunch time he would come into the counseling conference room sit down, close his eyes and have a power nap for 20 minutes. At the end of 20 minutes up he would pop and back to class. He was a great kind math teacher at Timberview Middle school!

Donald Paul was my first cousin. We grew up together in Republic County Kansas. We were only six weeks apart in age and spent a lot of time together with our dogs and ponies on the Washburn farm where both families lived for several years in the late 1940s. We attended the Odell country school together in the 4th grade, which Don's mother, Aunt Sarah taught. The extended Milner families were a close knit farm family spending many Sundays at our Grandparents Ray and May Milner's farm home...

Dear Sandi, I was sorry to read of Don's passing. I thought of you two not long ago as I drove past The Centre and wondered where you were and what you were doing now. I no longer do the books for The Centre but remember back to those days. You and your family have my sincerest sympathy and I pray your fond memories help you through the rough days ahead.

My heart sank when I heard of Don's passing. Don and I go way back to Air Academy Jr. High days. His students loved all the war stories and I also remember those cartwheels in the hall. One day at Eagleview I had a group of students run into my office saying "we think Mr. Milner might be dead". He was simply taking another one of those catnaps that he did so well.
Sandi and kids, I am extremely sorry for your loss.

My deep condolences to the Milner family on their loss of such a fine man. I did not know Don, but I have the utmost respect and admiration for his son Clark and son in law Scott, and my heart goes out to them for their loss.

My favorite memory of Mr. Milner was watching him doing cartwheels in the hallway in celebration of a student's good grade. What a fine teacher he was! Betty Daniels, Colo. Springs

I was lucky enough to work with Don for a few years. My first year, I was a litle intimidaed by him, he was a litle gruff on the outside. But I found out, as did the students, he was really a teddy bear who would give you the shirt off his back. I offer my heartfelt condolences for your loss and the loss to the community.

The Caspari Family extends the Milner Family our heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathy as you mourn the passing of dear Don. We are so blessed to have met him and talked with him. We know that you will definitely miss this great, great man.
