After 20 years of service I look back and know that he was the best leader the Army had. I modeled my leadership after his. I was able to spend time with him in Newport News in 1987 and again in 1996. Every time we met, it was as if we had just seen each other yesterday. It crushes my heart to find out that he has passed. At this difficult time, we want to express our heartfelt condolences. Please know that we are here for you. As fellow Army comrades, we honor his accomplishments through our work with veterans and their families.

I was saddened to learn of Don's passing. I met him during our brief tenure at Hampton General Hospital. My condolences to his family.

Don, I shall miss you and will forever remember you. Being a soldier and Army Aviation was our passion. NCO's like you are so hard to find. God Bless you my friend...

Lieber „Schwiegerbruder“ Don,

My condolences to Lydia, Greg and Stephen. I'm sure he will be missed.
