Not sure what to say?

I hardly have a word for knowing today that Don Mullins passed. It is Dec. 19, 2014 and like every year for the past 35 years I wait for the Mullins Xmas letter. I worked for Mr. Mullins since I was 15 y.o., for many years. My grandmother Eileen was Don's fathers Secretary before he passed. Mr. Mullins was one of the kindest, fairest boss I ever had. I had many problems growing up and he always made sure I was alright. I am so sad to hear the passing of Don and I know he has had a very very...

Don Mullins was the best dad. He never really grew out of being fun, yet had a very strong sense of responsibility. You knew you could count on him. He lived his life with purpose and determination and drive to serve the Lord.

I met Don when our kids were in the Dundee Scots--he was 'President' and I was 'Ways and Means.'
He led me to salvation with Christ and followed thru for 38 years sending a "birthday card" every year on my salvation anniversary.
He was one of my closest friends.

Mr. Mullins (Uncle Don) was a special influence on my life as an elder at the Meadowdale Gospel Chapel, my H.S. Sunday School teacher, and youth group leader. His joy in life, sense of humor and evident love for the Lord will be missed.

Good bye my dear cousin, I have a picture of you and my dad on my dresser wIth you in your Air Force uniform. God speed my precious Donald.
Cousin Tom!

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. He inspired us to be dedicated to raising our children as to the Lord. Don send out a letter each year reminding us to light our dedication candles (symbolic remembrance), and then because we had a large family,he would humorously warn us not to burn down the house. His spirit of dedication touched our lives, we will miss him & those annual letters, but rejoice that he is with Jesus forever.

So sorry I couldn't be there for the funeral. Mr. M meant so much to me. It seems he was there all my life and a great influence on my Christian walk as my Sunday School teacher and Youth Group leader. And an example of "Living for Jesus." He will never be forgotten.
