Not sure what to say?

Don was great as friend, dentist and partner in the Maule. We shared so many interests. Every one of those memories of time spent with Don is precious. My condolences to his family and many close friends. Many thanks to his family for putting on that marvelous reception, which reminded all of us to keep in as close touch as we can. I feel deeply honored to call this man a friend.

Well by the time Dr. Mythen came to be my Mom's boss, and thus, my dentist, most of my childhood fillings were in - good thing, too, because he always made me laugh so hard in the chair I'm not sure how much work he could've gotten done in my mouth! And I do forgive him for the time my jaw went so numb from the novocaine I couldn't blink my left eye without using my hand to do it (and he told Mom - don't worry, Al, maybe hit a little nerve back there - but it'll probably wear off...

Don, a friend for 61 years and as our dentist for the whole time of his practice. A super intelligent, extremely witty, caring and charming guy who will be missed greatly. His brother Dick was a dear friend as was Don. His Mom Irene was a super lady whom Don admired also. I must have spoken on the phone to Don within a couple of hours of his death on March 26. His last comment to me was, "I love you guys....." What an honor to know him!
Our thoughts and prayers we wish to extend to...

Don, you were the best. You are and always will be my friend. Larry and I will miss you. My most sincere condolences to Betty, Carol and Dan.

Dr. Mythen was my childhood dentist. He always made me laugh, playing with his water and air tools. After a bad experience at the dentist's as an adult, I drove back to Richmond just to see him. He was still a handsome, funny, caring, gracious man and I will forever remember him as the best dentist ever.

What a wonderful man.It was a pleasure to go to work each day because of Don's great sence of humor. We stayed in touch these many years and OH how he will be missed. My prayers to Betty and the family. God bless you all.

I had the pleasure of working for Dr. Mythen for almost 5 years and enjoyed every minute of it. We had kept in touch through the years and am so thankful that on 3/14/04 Alice and I traveled up to the Bay Area to take Dr. Mythen and Betty out for lunch. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Betty, Dan, Carol, and their families.
