Not sure what to say?

Pat and Family: I am so sorry to hear of Tobey's passing. He was, without a doubt, a world-class stand-up comic, and his antics make our memories of classes together at Notre Dame High enjoyable forever.

Bless you and your family.

Here's to the memories

To My family,

We were all so crushed when our hope was lost on that extremely sad day of January 5, 2008. We will be realizing for years to come how truly blessed we were to have Tobey (Dad,Pop-Pee) in our lives. He took care of us in so many little and big ways. I.E: As the snow melted and the water trickled into my basement this winter, I said I guess Pop-Pee was right when he said to clear the snow away from the window so many times. As I pile the unopened bank statements from the...

Pop-Pee,
You,along with my father, have provided me with the two best examples a man could ask for on how to be a loving husband and a caring father. Your guidance, wisdom, courage, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for me. The one gift I would like to thank you for the most is the gift of your daughter, Colleen. I feel blessed that your qualities, likenesses, and quirks will remain with me forever through her. Often we would...

POP-PEE

My Pop-Pee was a hero to all
He made sure our country didn’t fall.

He always wanted the best for me
He helped me find lots of opportunity.

My Pop-Pee was a best friend
I can’t believe it has come to an end.

14 years has gone by too fast
But I know his presence will certainly not be the last.

I know he will be watching us all from above
Showing us all much love.

Pop-Pee will guide us through the good times and the bad
And his...

This beautiful poem expresses my thoughts and feelings of losing my Dad.

The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing...

I LOVED my Pop-Pee. He was the VERY BEST. He took me to Jacobsburg and to the junk yard. He went to my football, baseball and basketball games. We had so many good times together. He called me parrot man. I will miss him everyday.

My grandfather POP-PEE was a great person to all. He loved and cared for all. He taught us right from wrong and the true meaning of having a great life. He came to all of our games and cheered us on. Now he can have the best seat in the gym or on the field. He will never leave our hearts.I LOVE YOU POP-PEE. Your loving grandson Cheeseburger

Dear"Nonnie,"

Six years ago, Alli picked up on Ryan and Drew calling you "Nonnie and Poppy." Today my parents have earned the names Nonnie and Poppy by all three of their grandchildren. To me those words symbolize strength, courage, love and friendship each exhibited by you and Toby as well as my mom and dad. So today, when we say and see Poppy, we will not only see the person standing in front of us but we will see Toby in our hearts because to us, he holds a special place in our...
