To my Uncle Donald,
What does an uncle mean to a niece? It means someone who carried and cared for me when I was 16 months old, and quite badly burned my hand. It's someone who laughed like crazy at my jokes no matter how goofy they were. It's someone who answered all my questions, with patience and great wisdom on any subject as I was growing up. It's someone who, when I got married welcomed my wonderful husband into the family with open arms. And, someone who became my substitute father...
