Not sure what to say?

Dear Ms Norman
I visited Cardiff a few years ago and believe I met Don. He siad he was an Historian and had retired from the post office. He was very nice to us and showed us around the area as my dad was born in Cardiff. His name was Anthony Zaffuto born in 1917 to Paul Zaffuto and Ann Vizzini Zaffuto. Paul was a coal miner. I enjoyed our visit and sent Don $50 to purchase a brick for me for the Historical Society park to celebrate Cardiff life bac in the early coal days. Can you...

Dear Jane,
I am saddened to hear of Donald's passing. He always had a smile & kind word at school (I had algebra with him in Mrs. McCluskey's class). He had that curly red hair & mischievious grin. I know you are really going to miss him. I miss running into you & your mother at garage sales in Forestdale, now that we live in Hoover. May the Lord be with you & bless you with peace in your time of grief. Your friend.

Jane,
I am saddened by the passing of Donald. I had only talked with him for a few brief moments during the last fifty-plus years but I knew him since the day of his birth. The Norman Family were our neighbors in Cardiff at that time. I remember well his most pleasant personality. My sincere condolences to You, Marcel, Kenneth, and the rest of the family.

Jane & family, I was shocked to read about Donald's passing. Words cannot express how very sorry I am for your loss. He was such a nice man & I always enjoyed talking to him on Cardiff Day.

My heartfelt condolences to Don's family. I knew Don only breifley at the Pratt City Post Offices, but was one of the finest carriers that I ever supervised.
