Don was not only the loving father of Gwendolyn and Brendan, but also to his 3 cats, and uncle to mine. He was a true animal lover, as is his loving wife Adrienne.

I had the pleasure of working with Helen O'Keefe, Donald's mom, at the Morris County (NJ) Municipal Utilities Authority, for several years. Helen was a wonderful colleague, and she kept several of her MUA colleagues posted about the goings-on in the lives of Donald, his wife, and their two children. I have only met Donald a few times throughout years but did feel like I knew him from all the pictures shared by Bryan and Chris throughout the years. Knowing Bryan I'm sure Donald and his brother Sean were raised by a wonderful man who would do anything for his family. I'm so sorry that Donald went through so much.
