Not sure what to say?

Well it´s hard to believe that it´s been 20 years since you left us. We miss you everyday and especially around the holidays. You were supposed to share our golden years with us and make getting old fun. Love and miss you Duck!

One of my favorite memories of Ducky was when he said there was going to be a fabulous meteor shower and that he´d be over to watch it with us. I said that he´d probably not make it since it was going to be so late. He replied that he´d be there and that he´d bring champagne. I laughed and said okay sure. Lo and behold there was a knock at the door and there he was with bubbly in hand. We grabbed some lawn chairs and our champagne, toasting and whooping at the meteors streaming across...

Well Ducky it’s hard to believe that it’s been sixteen years since you left us. Not a day goes by that you aren’t missed my friend. Holidays and weekend dinners are not the same. I miss our conversations and wonder what you’d say about everything that’s transpired since you passed. I know you’re spreading your joy and love.

I will miss my friend, my confidant, my favorite brother-in-law. My love goes with you. You touched many hearts, forever you will stay there.

Uncle Ducky was a great uncle. He never met a person he didn't like (or at least he never said it to them) and there was never a person that didn't like him. We didn't get to see him here alot in New Jersey but he definitely made his presence felt. He tried to come up here as much as possible and when he did it was special every time. Thank you for the memories. You will be missed.

Uncle Ducky wasa special uncle and he was also my godfather. He will be missed greatly. I know he would not want everyone to sit here and be sad. He would want us to look at the good times we had and know that he is watching us.

Ducky was our best friend. We thought of him as a brother. Saturday get togethers and holidays will never be the same without him. We will miss him always. He will forever be in our hearts and minds.

Uncle Ducky was a great man and brought joy to all who knew him. This was a great shock. It helps to know he is up in heaven smiling down down. We will all miss him dearly.

This came as quite a shock. Our family was looking forward to our time in Ireland next month with Ducky.
