Patti, one of the blessings from our friendship was really getting to know your parents. I so looked forward to catching up with your dad at neighborhood get-togethers or random run in about town. Your dad was one of a kind. His laugh was contagious. His smile filled a room. And I loved how he could tell a story complete with the hand on your shoulder and a hug before we parted. And the pride and love he had for you and your children was enviable. He always spoke with joy in his voice...
