Not sure what to say?

I am deeply saddened to belatedly learn of Don's passing, and offer my condolences to his family. I've shared many stories with others about him and have fond memories of him as a teacher. To laugh while learning chemistry was a blessing, as I loved the subject but had testing difficulties in AP Chemistry at Chelmsford HS. His support and encouragement inspired me to major in Chemical Engineering, and I even visited him a couple times post graduation to say hello and thank him. I will always...

Mr. Parkhurst was one of the first teachers to believe in me...he was a wonderful man, full of zest and knowledge...My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

Mr. Parkhurst will be greatly missed. His knowledge, compassion, and sense of humor made one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. My thoughts and prayers are with the Parkhurst Family.

Mr. Parkhurst was the most kind-hearted and passionate teachers I have ever had. Every one of his students was truly blessed to have him as a teacher. I still remember many of his wise words of advice. My prayers are with him and his family at this time.
Rachel (Heim) Rockwell, Walker Class of 2002

I know I speak for hundreds of students and their parents when I say how blessed we were the day Mr. Parkhurst decided to take his vast knowledge of chemistry and his caring personality to the classroom. His devotion and passion touched the lives of every student passing through his door. He will never be forgotten!

My prayers are with the Parkhurst family. He was a wonderful teacher that encouraged me to challenge myself and succeed beyond what I thought possible. Whenever I hear a science pun, I'm reminded of him. Mr. Parkhurst will be greatly missed.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
