Our family had the good fortune and privelege to know Don. We loved his great humor and wonderful storytelling. Anyone who knew Don, knew he was a proud husband, father, and grandfather and rightfully so. We will miss his visits to Lakeland, Florida. God bless Don and Marilyn.

Don did more to shape my life in Rotary than any one else. He was a tremendous friend and mentor. I remember a dinners for eight at his home and a tour of the "shop". What an amazing man. There are a lot of humble men in the world and a lot of great ones. Don Patterson was one of the very few humble great men. He will be missed by many!

My fiancee and I were fortunate enough to meet Don by taking Eucharist to him on Sundays. He was a fantastic storyteller and such a kind man to be around. He will be dearly missed.

Don was a good friend and a special mentor of mine when, after he ably served as president of Rotary Club 13 and I was on his board, I succeeded him in that position a year later. Our downtown club will not be the same without Don. Blessings on all of his family. Woody Davis

When we were little kids my family lived across the street from the Pattersons on Aberdeen. My brother and I played with Don and his sister. I remember him as being such a sweet little boy. My sympathy to his family.
