Not sure what to say?

He helped with the fair queens from the beginning, 1947 ? when my sister also assisted when Marilyn Thomsen was elected queen and my sister took her to Lake Geneva, where she received another award as Ruth was working two and three jobs (one at the Rivera) until she started medical school at Harvard U. Don always asked about her throughout the many years I knew him. I will never forget when he asked if Sarah could join my church school at St. Ann's and she attended until little Katie Thurow...

I read Sarah,s article and flashed back to your Dad and Mark. I played LL baseball w/ Mark a few years and remember how your Dad put an article about my "first win" and a pic in the Sentinal!!! I played for Dick Kelley and the Cardinals that year...Playing at Sullivan Field was a big deal in the early '60's. It was your dad who took all of mine and my sister's & brother's school, church, sports, and family portraits. I don't think we ever thought there was another photographer in Woodstock!...

I, of course, had know "Mr. Peasley" since a I was a little girl at St. Mary's. I always thought he was so amazing and talented, and just such a nice man. The Tambone family have many "Don Peasley photos" that he took of us thru the years. What a great man who contributed so much to so many!

Mark and Laura, you are in our thoughts and prayers as you grieve the loss of Don. We love you!!
