Donald J. Peckels

Don was like a second father to me growing up. I always felt like one of the family and spent many hours of my childhood years growing up with Susan, Joe & Julie.

Don taught us to swim even though he couldn't swim himself, and would often take us all swimming and throw us over his big broad shoulders one at a time.

I will always remember a big hearty guy with a big cigar (in earlier years). He always had a listening ear and a heart of gold.

I have been blessed to have the Peckels family in my life. Even though Don has moved a short way away, he will continue as will the whole family have and share a large part of my heart!

Don was a very friendly guy, never lost for words and talking a lot about his family. He always stop in the kitchen at UpJohns when I was there. He will be missed!

While Don and Diana were my very favorite neighbors growing up, they have always been so much more. They both have been like family my entire life. Don's robust laughter and his "How ya doin, Sweetie" will forever be in my memory. I will miss him very much.

Don was a dear friend I met him and Diane at my place of work Kmart.We became very closefriends they are like family. I will miss him dearly.He was lots of fun to be around .Always had you laughing.
