Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Pell. I first met him when I was a medical student at IU School of medicine in the 1960s.
I then interned at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana where Dr. Pell was on staff.
Truly a physician’s physician.
Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable. Even covered for me on Thanksgiving day while I went home to Indianapolis. He was busy.
My condolences to the Pell family.

Best friends in Brazil, mothers shared a hospital room in Hollywood FL. Jan 1942.

We spent many summers at Camp Tecumseh Where Don, John and myself were awarded the Golden T Award the highest award.

Dr. Pell was one of a kind, such a kind and intelligent physician. I worked with him for many years in ICU and then in the endoscopy lab at Ed White Hospital. I learned a lot from him over the years. He taught everyone who worked with him so much about pulmonary diseases and how to best care for patients. Sending prayers and light to his wife and family.

Don & John Mother and my mother hared a hospital when they were born on 31 Jan , was born 2 Feb. Both families moved to Brazil after WW2. We were close friends till they moved to Florida and I joined the Navy.

Fondly remembering Don as a marching "Red Devil" in Brazil High School Band. So many wonderful experiences! Sending our sincere condolences. George and Connie Kumpf

It´s hard to begin to say how sorry to hear of Dr. Pell´s passing. Just thinking of him makes me smile. With working in endoscopy for so many years he taught me so much. He was a kind and pleasant man . He was also one of the smartest people I ever met. I feel honored to know him. Condolences to his wife and family.

Dear Laura and family, It has been many years since our high school days together, but Don ( and his brother John) played a big part in my life and my family´s when we were growing up in Brazil. It was only this past couple of weeks he has been strongly on my mind. I´m happy to read that he has so many children and grandchildren as I´m sure he would have been a great father. I now live in Australia with my husband Brian and family, but just wanted to let you know how much Don meant to our...

Sending your family love and healing. Dr Pell was the greatest doctor I have ever met. My heart is very sad today.
