Not sure what to say?

Sandy, You and Don were in my dream last night so I got online to try and find you. The last thing I expected was to find an obituary. I have many wonderful childhood memories with you all that I will forever cherish.

I'm so sorry for your loss Sandy. I was trying to locate you and came across this. My heart goes out to you and your family. Hope we can get back in contact soon. With all my love Vicki. ( [email protected])

He was a class act. Always made it a point to go out of his way to stop at my hot rod and say hello. And he loved to give me a hard time, but that's what we all loved about Don. He had a heart of gold. Always made a point to make sure we were informed of car shows coming up in the area. Going to miss his sense of humor. Thank you Don for taking in a Ford car person-he'll will be missed by many... Our prayers go out to Sandy and the family. We all knew how important family was to Don,...

I have loved him since we were teenagers "in the hood" as he would call it. Always looking after me and giving me a ride home from school. I will miss his phone calls where he proclaims "WHAT'S FOR DINNER?". George and I will miss him dearly, but we know he's in a better place.

Don always made me laugh. He fought such a long fight but even though he was fighting the fight, whenever I saw him, his spirit was so strong and upbeat and he would always give me a bad time. He will be missed by so very many.

He was the best as they come. You wouldn't find a more solid man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a true family man who enjoyed spending time with family and especially his grandchildren and watchin them grow up. Cancer may have taken you from us, but it will never take away your spirit or the memories we have of you. I will see you again Dad, but until then I will hold it down like you would want me to. Keep the laughter to an uproar and teach those Angels how to cruise....
