Don and I were buddies for years. We played together, got in trouble together and just enjoyed each others company. I don't know how it started but our code word was "Quakers & Thoup" dumb, probably but kids do funny/dumb things. Some years back I called Don at his home in Owosso, when his son answered and asked who it was I told him just say it's Quakers, well you know the rest. I heard a loud laugh in the background and we spent a long time on the phone reliving the "Good Old Days" back...
