Not sure what to say?

I worked with Don at fort hill from 1988-91. He was giving and permissive to say the least. He would give me time off at the drop of a hat. We had Christmas parties every year and one year I even got a birthday party. He was always fooling around and it took me some time to learn not to take him seriously. I feel terrible I didn't get to see him in recent years. My deepest condolences to jean, his children, and all the family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Don was just a GREAT guy and thru sports our families intertwined, over the years....his firm legacy, a devoted wife in Jean and a just a beautiful family that lives on with his values...our very SINCERE sympathy, Jeff and Karen Ianiri

Blessings to Don's wife Jean, the entire Poole family, and all of Don's loved ones. I will always remember his upbeat and positive spirit. Truly an Auburn legend. With love and peace, Julie Tucker Riva, MD (Auburn native)

I first met Don as his paperboy then when he was baseball and basketball coach at Mt.Carmel. I then had the pleasure of working with Don at the prison. Great person always willing to help and lend a sympathetic ear. He will be missed. My condolences to Dons family. John.

Please accept the most heartfelt sympathies of Le Moyne College. We hope the love and memories you will forever hold in your heart bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Don´s family. I was fortunate to get to know Don as a volunteer at Mathew House. He was one of the nicest, caring gentleman I have met. I´m not surprised he was as active as he was in doing so much good in his community.
