Not sure what to say?

I dont think I could add much more than I did when MrQuick died other than to say under the circumstances that day it was so good to see all you boys because it had been so long! Growing up with you all as neighbors was a wonderful time of my life! Now that Daddy is in heaven with Bro Don, I feel what yall felt. An emptiness of a wonderful man, father, husband and dad that can never be replaced! My heart still aches as I know yours does too! Love you all !!!

We are so sorry for your loss. We enjoyed Don's Sunday School class at Gardendale & will miss him but we'll see him again in heaven.

Don was a great example for me as a young salesman so many years ago. He taught me that you don't have to compromise your values or morals in the business world to do well. I always enjoyed our time together so much and even more when we finally got to work together at Pinson valley heat treating. He was a great mentor to me, a great friend, and a great Christian role model. He will be greatly missed.

Our hearts are broken at the news but we all have such great memories. Our neighbor, our friend, a wonderful Godly man. Mr Quick will be missed but not forgotten! Personally my life was better growing up because of your family. The wonderful memories of playing with the boys, our get togethers, singing around the piano, these things I hold dear in my heart! We were all so close back then and time just slips away so fast. My love and prayers to you all and may God give you piece and...

So sorry for your loss. Don and I worked together at Stockham. He was such a nice person. We know he will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family. Don and I were friends at Stockham, he was a friend to us all.

Carolyn and family,
When we think of the season we spent with you and Don when we were raising kids and doing ministry together, our hearts are full. We laughed together and cried together and shared life together. Memories flood our minds of horses and trips and meals and jail ministry. Inside jokes like Don singing, "I'm not Lisa, my name is ..... " We can look forward to that fellowship again when we'll be reunited because we are forever friends by God's grace! Love to you all!

This is a difficult time for family and friends . Don Quick was my Sunday School teacher for several years at Smoke Rise Baptist Church . He taught God's word and Jesus's words well . I thought as much of him as I did my own brother . He inspired me to follow his teachings . I look forward as well as Carolyn and his entire family to having a glorious reunion in heaven . Don would have everyone to not mourn but to look forward to being together again forever !
