Stanford '17 2nd Lt. USMC

From TBS, September 2017.
She went on night watch a little low on sleep and a heart heavy from the obstacles behind and before her. When she came off watch her mind was renewed into a fierce determination to master the challenges ahead. What happened during that night to change her perspective? Your legacy recorded in her barracks at Quantico. She thought, 'that diploma looks a lot like mine?' You inspired hergave her so much to think about during that night. The spirit of one Stanford...

My Noble Brother - I walked the grounds of our beloved W&M today. You were very much with me in mind and heart. Seeing your name etched on the walls of the Ween Building brought special pause...God bless the McGothlin family and their sacrifice, generosity and leadership to our nation, the Commonwealth and The College.
Always & Faithfully - Rick

Tomorrow will be 8 years since you gave your life for our freedom. You will never be forgotten my friend.

My heart is heavy on this day , the seventh anniversary of the loss of Donald McGlothlin. I mention his name daily along with the other men that lost their life on that day. I have a memorial in the front of my house for the public to view, and then one in the back for ourselves. I will never forget his sacrifice.

It's been 6 long years my friend, but know you will never be forgotten.

To the family and friends of 2nd Lt. Donald R. McGlothlin:
Please accept my remembrance of Donald on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

Happy Birthday, friend. We still miss you.

First of all I would like to say thanks to my cousin Ryan for giving up his life for our freedom and being someone I can look up to even though he is gone. I plan to follow in his footsteps and become a Marine myself. The poem "Don't Quit" has now become a part of my life itss always in my wallett in my backpocket and when in hardships i pull it out as a reminder of Ryan and his sacrifice. He is my Hero and will always be you have played a major role in my life and I hope to see you in...

Thank you for not only being an outstanding platoon commander to your 2nd but also looking after each Marine in Fox.
