Not sure what to say?

To a grandfather, I hardly knew. Met Donald a couple times as a child, but that's about all, my condolences to the family that knew him. -Dane T Rettig

i wish we stayed in touch more,i have regrets, but i loved you.you took us camping,to the race track, its funny mom hated it.i remember the rides on your motor cycle, that was a good time.sorry i wasn't around more dad.R.I.P.

It was our pleasure to have known Don for many years. Whenever we went to a car show or on a rod run you could count on seeing Don in his cherished car. He always had a smile and would make you laugh. He loved life and life loved him. The hot rod culture has lost one of the best. R.I.P.Don.

As a fellow Pacific Bell employee, I met Don 54 years ago. Down thru the years we would occasionally meet up at car shows and since retirement, at the annual retirement breakfast. An all around great guy and i'll miss him!

"Good Grief Charlie Brown", Don was one of the best. I'm honored to be his friend as well as having worked with one of the greats.

Remembering your kindness, your generosity, and your larger-than-life personality, Uncle Don. Thank you for being there on my most important day. <3

As a charter member of the chiefs car club, Don was a great guy and friend we spent a lot time together in LLOYD &Bees garage working on the sedan and race day, all around S cal. Also we trailered the sedan to Indenapolos to the national drag races May you rest in peace brother. Love you hank
