Not sure what to say?

Don was a great guy. He told us lots of his stories. Took care of him and Dottie at Ecumen. Many thanks for sharing him with us. Roxanne

To the Riley family:
The entire Sweeney clan sends its prayers and condolences. Dot and Don were good friends of our parents and I thoroughly enjoyed his columns, especially the ones on the Fighting Saints. His talents and energy will be missed.

Sheila - now I know where you got your "Irish"! And what a fabulously written memorial. My thoughts and prayers go out to you...Love Monica Kelley Kovalchuk

Shannon, Joe and family- please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. ❤

Dear Shannon, Sheila and families,
We have lost a truly great man. What a beautiful tribute you've written to a life well lived. I LOVED listening to your dad tell stories at my parent's parties. (My favorite was when he left your mom at the gas station in Wisconsin!)
Please know that you are in my prayers.
Love,
Bridget (Ivory) Corbett

Thank you for your powerful words. I am remembering my father and oldest brother discussing you columns at the dinner table. You gave us all a gift.

As a teenager, Don's column was always the first thing I read in the paper.
