Not sure what to say?

Don and I served on the personnel committee at First Presbyterian Church in Flint. His legal knowledge and thoughtful interpretations were greatly appreciated in uncomfortable situations, as was his caring manner when we were dealing with uncomfortable situations in a Christian setting. Flint has lost a wonderful human being. He will rest in peace and we hope his family will know how much he will be missed by all in the greater community.

Don is a good guy. Somewhere in this universe Don is getting a explanation from a very good source of how this all works. A great dedicated guy. I can't say we were close, but I can say he treated everybody I know that he knows as if we were. God Bless Don

Don was a great guy. I played the trumpet with Don at Zimmerman over 60 years ago and we were friends and classmates at Southwestern. I have not seen him for years but will always remember his big smile and friendly nature like it was yesterday. From his bio it is clear that he was a "Flint Guy" throughout his life and the kind of guy I think about when I brag about my hometown.

We graduated from Southwestern High School in 1967. I knew Don as one of the good guys. Over the years I continued to hear his name and it always brought a smile to my face. Rest In Peace Don. May your family be comforted by their faith.

Heartfelt Condolences Arrangement- BASKET INCLUDED

Praying for Pat and Jerry Ginger and Don´s family during this week especially. I met Don at Glen Ginger´s funeral where he and I both spoke a few years ago. I was impressed with his warm heart and love for Glen. I felt as if I had known Don for many years as we met and talked at the funeral.

Dan was always a respectful kind and caring guy. Always willing to give a helping hand. I enjoyed working with him at the courthouse as well as singing next to him in the choir. May he rest in peace, and my deepest condolences to his family Sincerely, Nancy Wartella

I met Don through his wonderful sister, Pat, my good friend and neighbor of many years. I learned of his accomplishments from Pat and enjoyed my encounters with Don and Diane. I know he will be so missed by many. Best regards to all family and friends.

I remember the early days on Zimmerman & Reid Street & so does my brother Bob. At that time the new Southwestern High School & old Zimmerman School. Oh! Such fun in the old neighborhood.
