RIP to "Uncle Donald", and my condolences to his family - Uncle Donald, you were the grandfather i never had. Only through the years, and having matured, have i come to appreciate everything you did, for everyone. You offered help when there were rough financial times when i was a little kid. You took us to Red Sox games ... and i cried and thought of you and Aunt Sissy when they won it in '04. You were the role model for how a parent should treat their disabled child. Plus all the memories of us kids growing up and parties and going to the Cape. He's probably up there having a good talk with my father.
