Not sure what to say?

Dr. Ross was one of the most exceptional people I have ever met, and what made him so special was the impact he has had on so many peoples lives. I can only thank God for allowing me to have had him be apart of my life, for I will never forget him and his good hearted nature.

Dr. Ross you will be missed but never forgotten.

A true scholar, gentlemen, and all-around great human being.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Dr. Ross.

God bless.

Dr Ross was one of the most exceptional teachers I came to know in my long educational journey. He was an incredible example of Jesuit ideals, tireless in his devotion to students and a role model for thousands. I had the privilege to work closely with him during my biology studies at Fairfield and work in his lab on his Xanthine Oxidase reseach study. He was always there for us with words of encouragement and never declined a request from a student. He will be deeply missed by his former...

As a young religious assigned to teach science to seventh and eighth graders, (and I pursuing my Masters degree in English), I applied for and was awarded a National Science Foundation grant to study science in an institute created by Dr. Ross, Dr. Barone and Dr. Klimas. By the time I completed three years of Saturday morning studies, I was hooked on science and ultimately earned a degree in Biology. Dr. Ross was a large part of that decision. His utter dedication, infectious humor, vast...

An outstanding professor who cared immensely for his students. I wouldn't have been accepted into dental school without his guidance and wisdom. Rest in peace forever, Fairfield will miss you.

My deep condolences to the Ross family on your loss.
I took a Microbiology class with Dr. Ross at St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing in 1969. He was a very gifted professor who was able to keep the subject matter interesting and had a sense of humor to boot. He will not only be missed by the academic community, but by the future students who have lost an opportunity to learn from him.

Forty-five years of great memories
of a magnificent colleague and
beloved friend with a great interest
in all forms of knowledge and an
unsurpassed devotion to his students
and to Fairfield University to
which he was an incomparable asset.
Look down upon us with prayer, Don,
we will never forget you.

Ed Ross, Jr. Sorry to hear about your dads passing. He sounds like a wonderful person. May he rest with the angels in heaven. I'll be praying for you and your family.
