Not sure what to say?

Here we are 10 years later. Those of us who were honored to call Don a friend surely remember him. I still remember him rolling into view at our planning meetings on his new 2-wheeled scooter, the one with only 1 control. why can't I remember the name of that machine. Age is my only excuse! His friendliness and kindness were in evidence from school days at Washington Hi through the rest of his life. He was always a supporter of reunions and activities. His family was always important,...

David Bliss here... I wanted to express to you Joanne and your family my brief thoughts. Don was a great guy, I feel privledged to have known him through all the events related to PFLAG and theatre outings over the years. I look forward to sharing some of my fondest memories of Don when I see you next! My best, David Bliss

Dear Joanne and family!
Condolences from Sweden and Erika Wistrand to you all. I´m the youngest daughter of Mr. Martin Lindström with whom you were in touch until my father died in the spring of 2007. Maybe Facebook can be a possibility to keep in touch? Take care and best regards! Erika Wistrand with family

Dear Joanne, Fred and other siblings, Earth's loss is certainly Heaven's gain! Don was a doozy! As I told you, Joanne and Fred, on Tuesday, I'll never forget mother's call after you attended your first meeting--back then it was still POG--Parents of Gays!--and mother spoke so very warmly of you--and then how she called just one short month later to say that you guys had zoomed your way from being newcomers to comforting the newest newcomers--and you never stopped leading after that! You...

Joanne, I was so sorry to read of Don's passing. My heartfelt prayers go out to you and the children at this stressful time. You two shared so many interests and I know you will miss him. You will have many wonderful memories that will bring comfort in the months ahead.
Dwain and I always enjoyed our times together with the two of you.
Take care and may God's love comfort you.

Dear Joanne and family. We send our condolences to you all. We knew Don through the Manufacture Representatives and had several lines in common. We trust the good memories you have will help you through these difficult times.
Fond Regards,
Allan & Rosalinad Ekstrom

Aunt Joanne, Becky, Tonette and Fred,
What a wonderful service you had for Uncle Don. He was an amazing man and will be missed. His wedding gift to Seth and I was one of the most thoughful gifts. We continue to watch the slide show he made every year. I will cherish it forever!
We love you so much.
Love,
Ashley Ross-Pietsch

Joanne, We are shocked and saddened by Don's death. He and I were best friends in high school and many years later after we begin coming to Oregon in the Summers we reestablished that relationship. We loved our get-together's on Mt. Hood and elsewhere. Our prayers are with you and the family.

Some years ago we were neighbors and served on the planning commission and city cancel. Don was a very decent citizen an lover of family, country and cars.

Blessings
