Uncle Don was my godfather, Dad's only brother. They looked so much alike. I remember once when Valerie, who was only about 18 months old, toddled up to my Dad and tugged at his pant leg. She looked pretty startled when he looked down and she saw she had the wrong Dad. Uncle Don had such a sweet smile and sense of humor. The Condolences page lets you light a candle, but not send a hug. I can't even muster the words to say something deep and comforting. We buried my husband, Steve, on Monday....
