Don, was a highly respected press brake operator/ sheet metal fabricator at E.F. Hauserman. In 1978-82, I worked as Don's helper off and on on his 50 ton Press Brake. I was a wild child back then fresh out of the service myself but Don tolerated me and in fact taught me a lot. I always cooled my Jets around him because he was a confident strong man who had no problem putting me in check. I learned a lot from Don and the other older men in that press room at Hauserman.
