With the death of his wife, Barbars, I learned of Don's death earlier this year. Don was always a deliberative individual who as a teacher and counselor worked for the benefit of his students. May he rest in peace.

Don and I served together at Gladstone Middle School. He always treated students with understanding and compassion. I believe that students knew that he was always available to give counsel and assistance regardless of their burden. For years he and I would enjoy God's outdoors with a day of hunting. Extremely religious, genuinely funny, and. reliable. He loved God, his family, and mankind in general.
