I’m glad Dad didn’t have to go through Covid because nobody would have been able to visit him and that would have been awful.
So we just finished Holiday season - Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year - and I have so many memories of spending those holidays each year with my sons at Don and Maxine’s house and with this wonderful, huge family. Those were loving times that we will never forget. Rest In Peace, Dad and Mom. ❤

Jenny recently gave me the address of this obituary. I want to say that Don was a great father in law. I always enjoyed visiting Hayward and spending time with the family. Don scared me just once when he flew me around our home on Fromdahl in Roseburg. I think he about lost it when banking his little plane over the house at extreme low altitude. Don was still my dad even though I was divorced from his son. He and Maxine opened their hearts to me long ago and that never changed. I have so many great memories of our time spent together and all the things we did with my sons. My entire family is sad at Don's passing, but we are all sure that he is once again with his beloved Maxine and they will be happy together throughout eternity.
