Donald K. Savage, age 80, of Plymouth, formerly of Holbrook, died Sunday June 26th at the BID Hospital in Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of 60 years to Frances D. (Zakrewski) Savage. He was the loving father of Maureen Eisenstein and her husband Robert of Plymouth, Kevin Savage and his wife Tracey of Plymouth, and David Savage and his wife Linda of Plymouth. Donald is also survived by his grandchildren: Arielle, Zachary, Olivia, Edward, Trevor, Derik, and Ashton, as well as his siblings: Michael Savage and his wife Ellen of Quincy, and Joan Stearns and her husband Robert of Weymouth. Born in Boston MA on July 24, 1935, son of the late Anthony J. and Irene V. (Kelly) Savage. Donald was a graduate of the Boston school system and went on serve in the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Korean War, receiving the National Service Medal, the UN Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He went on to make his living as a sales manager for Pepperidge Farm. A visitation will take place at the Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. Plymouth (Manomet), on Wednesday June 29th, from 4:00 till 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held the following day at St. Bonaventure's Church, Plymouth, at 10:00 am, followed by burial in the MA National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in Donald's memory may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research, 313 Washington St. #310, Newton MA 02458.
