I had many wonderful memories of Don and his family especially when I was a teenager. My father, Larry, would take my brother and I to the Hill Drive lot adjacent to the Schlaefer home in Hobart. To the family of Don Schlaefer,
My parents were great friends of Clem and Kathleen, and I remember them fondly.
I knew Don back when I was young, and also his brother and Sister Kathleen.
Prayers are with you all at this time.
God bless you with peace, comfort, and good memories.

Hi Marilyn...we are so sorry for your loss. We will see you Friday, May 15 at St. John's. So many good memories of Don....what a great guy. He was so generous and helpful all the time; never a negative word.

Don was a good man and a nice man. Rest in peace Don.

As a skier, volunteer, and advocate Don's support of the American Birkebeiner goes back a very long ways. Thank you Don for all you've contributed. Our sympathies go out to you Marilyn - keep your memories close to your heart.

Marilyn, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers and sending hugs your way. Take care!
