Not sure what to say?

Don Shell's spirit was kind and happy. No matter what his personal situation was he was a sunny person. Being married to his brother Rich, I got to know Don a little. Soon after that the love of his life, Maggie, passed away. I know that caused a hole in his life, a sadness. But Don was still sunny. May all of us strive to live up to that example. Even tho we miss him, Don would want us to be sunny. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends. Monica Shell

Don was a dear friend that I will greatly miss. When I knew that Don would be at a gathering I was attending it would put an even bigger grin on this grumpy man's face. I will miss Don's warmth and his big smile. Thank you, Dennis, for introducing me to Don and his lovely sister, Kathy and Don's dear brother-in-law, Terry. Some of my most lovely remembrances are with Don and his family.

My heart and my prayers go out to the Shell family and friends of Don.

Don was one of the most honest people I've ever known. He was always ready for a good conversation and when he would make a comment, he would always shoot from the hips.
I wish I could have had more time to develop a better friendship with him.
He had a great passion for the outdoors and life itself.
His smile and personality will be sorely missed.
God has probably made him a personal consultant as his knowledge and wisdom
have great value to all.

Donnie(as we, in Arizona, called him) was happily married to my cousin Maggie for many years. He was a very kind and always smiling guy and made my cousin (Maggie) very happy. I haven't seen him in a long time but I remember the good times we had when we went to visit them in California. My thoughts and hugs to Katy and Donnie's entire family. Love, Becky and Dan Jackson
