Not sure what to say?

He was my baby until eighteen doctor. My name is Jason. My sister Jessica and mother Margie. We called it Dr. Plotkins office.

With great sadness I leave this message for my dear and beloved Dr Shukan. Always kind and caring and so attentive. You always took time to teach and explain the needs and care we should always provide as parents. I often thought of you as my children's friend along with being their Physician. I do believe you cared for all three of my children into their twenties. No one ever wanted to move on from Dr Shukan. May you Rest In Peace and will never ever be forgotten.

My deepest sympathy to Penny and family. As a pediatrician and dad I admired Don and enjoyed our interaction later at the Sr Center. RIP DON. Pat O'Connor

Dr. Shukan helped us to raise our family and we have fond memories of his interactions with our children. His sincerity and concern was always present. In the words of our daughter, now a parent herself, "He felt honest as a kid, like we could trust him." Please accept our appreciation for his care and our condolences on your loss.

Shukan family, I am so sorry for your loss. I saw him at my grandma's funeral a month ago and wanted to say hi but I never got a chance in all the commotion. This is very sad news. I'm left feeling regret in knowimg that if I had gotton a chance to say hello, I would have also said goodbye.-Jeff Plotkin
