Donald "Don" Siegel

Don, always enjoyed our conversations on U.S. military history. Rest in peace Lt.Col. A life well lived.

Don was a good friend to our family. We had many meals together with him and his mom, Rose. He would on occasion accompany me to the cemetery when I would come to town for a visit. He would point out the graves of the many people he knew or knew about. He would explain how we were related or some interesting or colorful facts. His memory will surely be a blessing.

Don, and his late mother Rose, were good friends of my late mother Clarice Weinstein. On my brief visits to New Orleans he would regale us with his knowledge of our family history and New Orleans.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Donald Siegel, He was a very special and caring person. I worked with Donald at Howard Weil for many years. He hired me for a job at Howard Weil where I ended of working for many years thanks to Don as we all called him. May he rest in peace. Brenda Lockett

Donny was a good fellow liked and respected by all. He had the support of good friends. In addition to Buddy Kullman, Richard Hiller and Louis Ochs, both of whom predeceased him by many years, were his dedicated backers, boosters and proponents.
