What a wonderful life Uncle Don lived! His intelligence, knowledge, humor and affection stood out to me. At my wedding he mingled with guests, while sporting an obvious thread hanging from his jacket. Who could resist attempting to pull it off! However, this was an unending thread, attached to a dispenser hidden under his lapel, as I recall. It was a home wedding and Don was the featured entertainment! My Mom, Eileen Simpson Turyn, really loved her brother and they remained close...

Uncle Don you were a man with such great humor and love. I remember you always laughing and pulling jokes. You showed us as kids, how you cracked your nose and we were in awe not knowing it was your thumbnail clacking your teeth lol. I wish we had many more times as we got older. Getting to see you as an adult a few years ago and having dinner at your home in New Jersey, was very special, I treasure that. Many blessings on all you Simpson relative's, it would be beautiful to have a family...
