Not sure what to say?

I was in his class 2016-2017 and I always thought he was the greatest. He would always joke with us and ask us if we caught a big fish over the weekend. He also taught a lot of my family members. His impact will be eternal.

"It is so much darker when a light goes out that it would have been if it had never shone." What a great light you were to many. Loved knowing you from grade school through high school.

Grew up with Donnie. We played ball, played golf and ran around together. Great guy. Went through school with Susan also. I remember playing Church softball, Donnie played left field. When a ball was hit over there he would always make a dramatic catch. We accused him of show boating and he would just laugh.

Donnie and I worked together at Hewitt. He was kind hearted and had enjoyed the laughs that helped you get from one moment to the next. He was compassionate. I´ve learned through the years - if you find someone who is kind you are so blessed - if he/she is compassionate too - what more could you ask for. Thank you Donnie.

So sorry for your loss. I remember coach from Hewitt Middle School when it was located at the original Highschool. I was at the middle school 85/86 school year. Coach was sweet and funny. He definitely could take a joke as we had a bunch of clowns in the PE class. Coach was a treasure.

I worked with Donnie at Hewitt Jr. High for a number of years. I was Band Director and he was coaching . He was always a kind and funny guy. I grew very fond of him as we became friends. Prayers to his family.

I´ve known Donnie all the way back to elementary school and, of course, Phillips High School. He was always funny and a loyal friend. I was hoping to see him again sometime. I have very fond memories of him from so long ago.
