Not sure what to say?

Oh I am so sad to hear of Donnie´s passing. He was a longtime friend of my dad´s, Terry Wendell (passed in July of 2023.) I have many fond memories of Donnie at the airport growing up. Many times he took me bird watching around the property with a dog in tow, taught me how to identify various animal scat, and we even dissected owl scat together to see what it had eaten once. He even gifted me a book about birds. Pulling up to the airport and seeing his car there meant it was going to be a...

I´m sorry to hear this news of Donnie´s passing. He came in my hair salon for many years. He would announce himself as he came in the door with some funny statement to spur laughter. One of his dogs was usually sitting in his car looking in and waiting patiently on his return. I don´t think any of us ever sensed a bad mood in him. He always brought a joke or funny story with him. Sometimes he´d bring a loaf of his delicious bread! RIP Donnie. You will be remembered well.

Donnie and his dog Jane were almost the first people that I met when I moved to Mobile. Donnie will be missed. I am sorry for your loss.

I met Mr. Donnie while he was a pt of Dr.Park´s at the Orthopedic Group. They were old friends and I fell in love with him immediately. He was just "that" guy...life of the party. He always had a joke and a book...always. I would make mental notes of the cool birds, namely eagles, hawks and osprey that I would come across and we would discuss during his visit. Mrs. Mickey seemed to be his polar opposite and their marriage was one to admire. I lived around the corner from them and would...

On behalf of the Comic Cowboys, we extend our most sincere sympathies. 'Uncle Donald's' tireless work during the re-organization of our organization is historic, and I only regret that I personally did not have a chance to meet this incredible man. I am fortunate however that the many stories that we still regularly share ensure that he will continue with us in spirit for many years to come.
