SPANGLER, Donald DONALD L. SPANGLER Mr. Donald L. Spangler, age 72, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Janice H. Spangler. He is survived by: sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Marie Spangler, Parma, OH, Gerald and Heidi Spangler, Parma, OH, David and Karen Spangler, Tierra Verde, FL, and Jeff and Cathy Spangler, Sugar Hill, GA; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Ernest and Toni Haffner, Hernando, FL and Terry Young, New Port Richey, FL; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Richard Croteau, Crystal River, FL. Mr. Spangler was born May 5, 1937 in Cleveland, OH. He was a 1955 graduate of Parma High School in Parma, OH. He was a U. S. Army veteran. He was a retired District Manager of Plant Engineering from United Parcel Service. He was a member of Prince Of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch. The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, May 19, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service in the Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Parma, OH. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gwinnett County Unit, 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 260, Duluth, GA 30097 in memory of Donald Spangler.
