Just remembering the beer truck that was moved from the Bergie Picnic to Stepps front lawn! He was always jovial and kidding with a ready smile. Stepper's Pub in Hillsdale was a fun place in those days gone by. Don gave a lot to Bergies and also enjoyed himself along the way.
My condolences to his family and know that your loved one had many, many frieds and was well though of too.

Don was a joy to be around. He was a great leader for the Burgfreunde Ski Club. That is where I got to know him and his sense of humor.
I am sure he will start a new club in heaven that we will all be happy to join. RIP

Don Stepp was one in a million. I had lost touch in recent years, but what I remember is he had a way of making everyone feel good! All of the girls sure liked him...(he probably wasn't aware of that!) We had many good times at Steppers bar, and he set up the Permanent Party Committee where I met one of my best friends. So many good memories of Don. My heart goes out to his family and those who were close to him. As I said, he was one in a million.

Don was a great guy, always a kind word and smile for all. His laugh was easy to recognize, as he did it often. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially his Bergfreunde friends.
